Objectives: To Compare The Efficacy Of Doppler Technique Over Nonstress Test (Nst) In Predicting Fetal Compromise In Utero In Cases Of Pre Eclampsia Pregnancies And Feto Maternal Outcome.

Method: A Total Of 100 Third Trimester Pregnant Patients Hospitalized As Pre Eclampsia Cases,Were Examined Prospectively And Serially Color Doppler And Nst.

After Admission, The Patients Underwent Routine Antenatal Surveillance Including External Ultrasound Cardiotocography Recordings Performed As Nst For 20 Min Daily Or Sometimes Twice Daily.. The Umbilical Cord Was Insonated By Doppler Ultrasound Beam Directed Towards The Fetal Abdomen, The Fetal Vessels Were Located In The Standard Plane And Doppler Evaluated Regards To Pulsatility Index; Cerebroplacental Ratio And Absence Or Reversal Of Flow.

For Analysis Of The Results, The Patients Were Grouped According To Findings At The Cardiotocography And Doppler Flow Examinations: Group A Had Normal Nst And Normal Flow Velocity

Group B Had Abnormal Nst (Suspect, Slight Or Severe Pathological Nst), At One Or More Occasions And Normal Flow Velocity Waveform Group C Had Normal Nst And Abnormal Flow Velocity Waveform At One Or More Occasions Group D Had Both Abnormal Nst And Flow Velocity Waveform

The Chi Square Test Was Used For Statistical Analysis Of The Data With Continuity Correction As Appropriate, A P Value <0.05 Being Considered Significant.

Odds Ratio And Confidence Interval Were Calculated In Comparative Groups

Results: Fetal Doppler Has The Power To Discriminate Between Sick And Healthy Fetuses And With Serial Measurements It Is Possible To Monitor Any Deterioration In The Fetus. In Chronic Hypoxia Doppler Changes Occur First While Abnormal Fetal Heart Tracings Represent Late Signs Of Fetal Deterioration.Though Both Test Results Were Effective In Predicting Abnormal Outcome, The Significant Advantage Of Doppler Over Nst Observed In Our Study In Group D Was That Doppler Showed Changes Earlier Than Nst Giving A Significant Lead Time Of Up To 9 Days With An Average Of 4.14 Days.

Conclusion: Doppler Is Useful In Recognizing Fetal Compromise Earlier Than Nonstress Test Giving A Lead Time Which Is Important In The Management Of Pre Eclampsia Pregnancies.Combined Fetal Testing Modalities Such As Doppler, Nst And Biophysical Profile Provide A Wealth Of Information Regarding Fetal Health. Integrated Fetal Testing Would Be Ideal For Individualized Care Of The Preterm Compromised Fetus For Timed Intervention.

Introduction-Candida albicans is most common fungal infection in gestational diabetic women. Their rapid identification and proper treatment is necessary. In this study, we evaluated the performance of VITEK 2 for rapid identification of Candida albicans and non albicans Candida and antifungal sensitivity pattern. This cross sectional analytical study was performed on 75 diagnosed diabetic pregnant women who were admitted to Umaid hospital, Jodhpur city, Rajasthan from November 2012 to July 2013. Method-All samples were identified to species level by VITEK 2(Automated Method). A total of 225 samples were taken from diabetic pregnant women from three different sites (urine, vaginal swab & throat swab). Result- In 125 (55.55%) samples growth of Candida species were observed. C. famata (29.2%) was the most common species identified by VITEK followed by Stephanoascus ciferrii (27.2%) and Candida albicans (12.8%). C. albicans, C. tropicalis and c. parapsilosis showed susceptibility to all antifungal drugs whereas C. glabrata showed decrease sensitivity to VR, FU, CSP and AP but sensitive to flucytosine. C. famata did not response to any antifungal drug. Stephanoascus ciferrii showed decreased sensitivity to VR and FU. Conclusion-Thus, non albicans candida infection is increasing in gestational diabetic pregnant women. Therefore, accurate and rapid identification and susceptibility pattern is necessary for management of infection. VITEK system is certainly the more efficient method over the conventional method as the results are available in a shorter period of time as compare to conventional methods and provide susceptibility profile & MIC at the same time. 

UART (universal asynchronous receiver and transmitter) is always an 8bit or one byte. so in reality there is no use of one byte data ,it should be stream of data. The proposed scheme contains AMBA –AHB (advanced microcontroller bus architecture-advanced high-performance bus) bus protocol it contains on chip communications standard for designing high-performance system.

Now a day’s system on chip (SoC) architecture is very famous because with the help of SoC architecture any peripherals can be integrated together very easily, UART contains of three main components namely transmitter, receiver and baud rate generator which are nothing but the frequency divider. UART design will help to reduce area; hence more complex design could be added on the same chip. This type of design architecture will give a great advantage of reusability of modules.

In this project UART is used as an interface between computer and the chip means FPGA 9 field programmable gate array 0, using AMBA-AHB protocol, VGA 9 video graphics array driver is connected to display image in the LCD via UART and verified by simulating the design using modelsim PE student edition 10.2a, also synthesized on FPGA kits such as spartan3E using Xilinx ISE Design suit 14.3. Output is observed and cross verified for different trails.

Data mining is one of the most effective and powerful tool for detecting financial fraud had been used widely by the business analysts, researchers and detectors. This survey paper formalizes different types of financial frauds, presents a comprehensive investigation on existing fraud detection systems and financial fraud detection practices using data mining methods.

Tribal people in India in extreme poverty use unimproved drinking water sources such as surface water and unprotected wells. These water sources become highly turbid during late summer and rainy season. Because of drinking turbid and untreated water, epidemics of water born diseases are of common occurrence in these populations. People drink polluted water because they lack knowledge of proper drinking water treatments and also they cannot afford costly chemical coagulants. Therefore, usage of safe, traditional water treatment agents from natural sources has become essential. Sanskrit writings dating from several centuries BC make reference to seeds of tree Strychnos potatorum L. as clarifying. Hence in present paper the water clearing efficacy of this plant is reported. Results of turbid untreated water samples treated with seed powder of this plant are given.

Practical software reuse, in which existing software components are invasively modified for use in new projects, involves three main activities – selection, alteration and integration. Most of the academic research into practical research to date has focused on the second of these activities, alteration, especially the definition of reuse plans and verification of persistent changes, even though the selection activity is arguably the most important and effort-intensive of the three activities. There is therefore a great deal of scope for improving the level of support provided by software search engines and recommendation tools to practical re-users of software products. Search engines are particularly promising in this regard since they possess the intrinsic ability to “evaluate” products from the viewpoint of users’ reuse scheme. In this paper we discuss some of the main issues involved in prioritizing the selection support for practical reuse provided by test-driven search engines, describe some new metrics that can help address these issues, and present the outline of an approach for grade software products in search results.

Platelets are a key component of blood that plays an essential role in wound healing. They are a reservoir of growth factors and cytokines that are involved in the process of tissue maturation and healing. Platelet rich fibrin (PRF), a second generation platelet concentrate, is an autologous preparation of blood. It contains large quantity of platelets and cytokines. PRF presents a novel therapeutic conception with no biochemical processing of blood. The crux of PRF synthesis lies in the attempt to accumulate platelets and cytokines in a fibrin clot. It is a simple and cost effective method at attempting enhanced healing and recovery of tissues.

In the software engineering, the software quality testing is act as very important role for the quality of the software product. The existing system is the lack of domain knowledge for the software product quality. We proposed a new system for the full length of domain knowledge for the software product quality. The new system is “Domain Background and Technical Testing Skills”. It says looking at the current scenario from the industry it is seen that the testers are expected to have both technical testing skills as well either need to be from the domain background or have gathered domain knowledge by using software quality testing.

Introduction: Paper is one of the organic waste posing major environmentaland disposal problems. Cellulose is the major constituent of paper and cellulase being the key enzyme involved in the degradation of paper is of due importance. 

Aim: In this view, the effect of vermicomposting paper waste is dealt in the present study with cellulase activity and its quest of origin being observed with prime significance. 

Materials and Methods: The experiments were conducted in triplicates for each treatment taken, (T1) – newspaper waste and cow dung, (T2) – written paper and cow dung. The epigeic earthworm species, Eisenia foetida is used in the study. The earthworms were bred in both the treatments and their controls were devoid of worms.This setup was monitored over a period of 60 days. 

Results and Conclusion: The study reveals a peak increase in the cellulase activity on the 45th day of the experimental period in T1. Further, the Eisenia foetida gut isolate on the 60th day was found to be of the Bacillus genera in both the treatments. The phylogenetic analysis of the retrieved cellulase gene of Eisenia foetida, Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus pumilus disclosed a close relation of Bacillus pumilus to Eisenia foetida for cellulase gene leading to an inference of horizontal gene transfer (HGT) that would have occurred between the prokaryote’s (Bacteria) and eukaryote’s (Earthworm) genome during the course of evolution. Thus, vermicomposting using Eisenia foetida can be regarded as an alternative methodof degrading the cellulosic paper waste.

The exact solutions may be used to act the accuracy and the reliability of numerical methods of solving Schroedinger equation. In these transformations, for a class of potentials, Schroedinger equations are interrelated. Such an interrelation is useful for finding exact solution of these Schroedinger equations.
